Watch Tiffany Gouché’s Alluring Visual for “Dive”

It’s been an awesome year for Tiffany Gouché who’s fresh off her supporting run on Kelela‘s Take Me Apart Tour. She released the sexiest dual single of the summer, completed two tour legs (the other with Daley) as well as several one-off shows and was also a major contributor on Lalah Hathaway’s latest LP. Today arrives Gouché’s own visual for “Dive” which “was inspired by Gladys Bently, a blues singer that performed unapologetically in full tuxedo during the Harlem Renaissance,” she told The FADER. She continued, “Leo Volcy and Yassmin Alali (director and creative director) were excited to explore the ways in which queer black women existed freely in music. To be an outspoken queer artist at that time was so bold. I mean, it still is today. I wanted to convey that her legacy hasn’t been forgotten. She paved the way for women like myself.

The singer, songwriter, producer and musician also confirmed that her debut album is in the works. Until further details on that unfold, watch Tiffany Gouché intermix classic charm and irresistible allure in the “Dive” visual above.
