St. Beauty’s Debut Project ‘Running to the Sun’ Arrives with “Not Discuss It” Visual

St. Beauty, the vivacious duo of Janelle Monae‘s Wondaland, have revitalized the sounds of rhythmic pop along the road to the release of their debut EP Running to the Sun which we’re all fortunate enough to have received today. Featuring their classic cut “Caught” and veteran Insecure track “Borders” the project is a perfect introduction to their range as musicians for anyone who’s new to their sound.

Known to rely on their instrumental talents, St. Beuaty’s upbeat rhythms can often be found in the accompaniment of soft strings. Having bred their talents in Atlanta, the band’s aesthetic is a perfect mesh with the creative styles of Lacy Duke, the director (and frequent visual collaborator) responsible for their new music video for “Not Discuss It.”
