Sampha Enlists Kahlil Joseph for Rapturously Moving ‘Process’ Film

Sampha 2

With less than two months to recover from the emotive tsunami induced by the pensively angelic, introspective theme of his debut album, Sampha has shared the project’s eponymous short film. Directed by the amazing Kahlil Joseph, ‘Process’ is a visually stimulating masterpiece set in both South London and Freetown, Sierra Leone. Footage of breathtaking landscapes, brief tribal dance performances and various clips of the crooner’s own stripped down recitals are embedded between a spiritual, artistic and time-leaping storyline. In 36 minutes, ‘Process’ tells a deeply moving story with very few spoken lines. You can watch the rapturously affecting production via Apple Music or at any of the special screenings in NYC and London. Details for those screenings are below.
