RCA Teams Up With Tunji Balogun to Launch New Record Label

Newly promoted, Tunji Balogun, who has sprouted from RCA’s Senior Director of A&R to Executive VP of A&R, has taken the next step as co-founder of the Keep Cool branched label. Created by Tunji Balogun, Courtney Stewart, Jon Tanners and Jared Sherman, the Keep Cool label is what Balogun describes will be, “a safe-haven for artists and creatives who want to do things differently.” Since 2015, Balogun has been a pivotal member of RCA. He’s responsible in guiding the success of artists like SZA, Goldlink, Bryson Tiller, Khalid, and recent Grammy winner Childish Gambino.

Peter Edge, RCA chairman/CEO shared,“I am excited to see how Keep Cool will further enrich the musical culture at RCA at such an exciting time in the label’s journey.” Balogun does not skip a beat and has already signed his first artist to the label, Fifth Harmony member, Normani. With so many successes under his belt, the world is excited to see what is next for Balogun.

Congratulations, Tunji!
