PJ Morton Questions Faith-disguised Innuendos in “Religion (Remix)” Visual

R&B crooner PJ Morton has shared a visual for the Lecrae-featuring remix to “Religion.” The video opens and closes with scenes of an American flag symbolically bookending a message about macro-level, faith-disguised motives while the lyrics hint at a need for compassion, understanding and love on the micro level of religious zeal as well. Alone in a room playing and singing along to the track, the grammy-nominated artist questions what God really has to do with most of what society and government have thrown him into. Rapper Lecrae joins the room briefly as he recites his verse with a matching introspective demeanor.
