Mocky Announces Fourth Installation of The Moxtape Series with “Problematic” Visual

How to Hit What and How Hard, the latest installation of multi-instrumentalist/composer Mocky‘s “Moxtape” series is on it’s way. Today, the the Canadian virtuoso has shared the exciting news with an accompanying visual for the project’s lead single. “Problematic” is musically stunning and lyrically optimistic. Its Vice Cooler and Rand Sevilla-directed visual follows Mocky through various performance scenes. From drums to guitar and a bit of everything in between, the delicate footage of a maker’s intimacy with his instruments turn the layered “Problematic” into a tuneful work of art.

I woke up really early before the city was awake and in the silence I heard the whole tune complete in my head…when that happens you just get out of the way and do you,” he says of the new track. And since this the entire mixtape follows Mocky’s journey with through studio experimentation with playing the drums, bass, piano, flute, and nylon string guitar, you can bet that Vol. 4 of The Moxtapes will be as sweet as its three predecessors.

Until How to Hit What and How Hard‘s full release on August 11th, check out the lovely “Problematic” visual above and the project’s tracklist below.
