Janelle Monae Parades Her Femininity with “PYNK” Featuring Grimes

Hot on her own Dirty Computer trail, the third offering from Janelle Monae‘s highly-anticipated album has arrived with yet another avant-garde visual. “PYNK,”featuring Grimes, is an ode to the core beauty that lives within us all. The visual, much like the preceding two (Django Jane & Make Me Feel), embodies many of the enchanting attributes within the broad spectrum of womanhood. This collaboration marks the second between Monae and Grimes, who previously joined forces for Grimes’ “Venus Fly” in 2015.

The picturesque visual was directed by Emma Westenberg and follows art’s collective investment in the promotion of women’s empowerment.  From what we’ve seen and heard so far, Dirty Computer as a concept will be fluid in both femininity and sexuality. Watch the visual above as we (not so) patiently await the full album’s arrival later this month.
