ICYMI: Watch Moses Sumney’s Intimate Live Performance of “Quarrel”

Moses Sumney’s Aromanticism was one of last year’s most monumental music releases. The tenderhearted themes and intrinsic exploration of the singer’s own sentient complexities was indisputably both seraphic (musically) and thought-provoking (lyrically). After touring the album in the later part of 2017, Moses stopped by 99 Scott in Brooklyn to record an acoustic rendition of “Quarrel” (Aromanticism’s second single) “arranged [by Brandee Younger & Alden Hellmuth] for three harps.” Watch as harpists Brandee Younger, Ashley Jackson and Elizabeth Steiner and Moses Sumney’s matchlessly silky voice illume the dimly-lit space in the intimate visual above.
