Drake & Future Release Collaborative ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ Mixtape

After heavy rumors over the past few weeks, two of hip-hop’s heavyweights have finally debuted their anticipated collaborative mixtape. Yesterday evening, Drake took to his OVO Sound residence on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio to premiere What A Time To Be Alive, the 11-track joint project with Future. “I went to Atlanta for six days a couple weeks ago with the hopes of doing some songs with Future, and when you get around Future, it’s like a vortex, that guy can outwork anybody right now,” Drizzy shared on air. “It’s tough to see someone do four, five songs in one night and not try to match it.”

Laced with Future’s swift, melodic signature trap soundscapes, the duo seem to flow seamlessly together throughout the mixtape. With major production from Metro Boomin along with Southside, Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib, Ernest Baker was also credited by Drake for delivering the tape’s title. Turn the speakers up, and dab away as you vibe to the full project here.
