Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” Is A Manifestation of Dedication and Perseverance

Cardi B

Cardi B has officially debuted her full-length LP proving that she’s an artist capable of more than just gimmicks. With singles here and there, such as the iconic “Bodak Yellow” and most recently “Be Carefully,” many awaited Invasion of Privacy with baited breath.

Cardi’s official, first studio album delivers from start to finish with the previously released bad chick anthems to the newer tracks comprising stories of pain, struggle, and triumph. The Bronx-haling rap diva gets transparent on everything from diss rumors, to being labeled “problematic” on social media, to people saying she’s just a stripper who lucked up on 15 minutes of fame, and even the highs of her successes including meeting “Mama Knowles.”

Enlisting help from some of today’s hottest talent, Cardi proved that she was able to deliver serious heat. Migos, SZA, Kehlani, YG, 21 Savage, Bad Bunny, and J Balvin were some of the artists that contributed hooks and verses to the album. A standout from the record is her collaboration with Chance the Rapper on “Best Life.” A song of overcoming and succeeding, both artists highlight that the space they’re in now – both being in the prime of their career and life – is indeed their best life. And since the promising rapper revealed a belly bump carrying her first baby-baby, we imagine her life is about to get even better.
