Audio: Synead, “Tropicao”

PRIMARY - FAYSAL MATIN
Get you someone who can do both is an understatement for newcomer Synead. The New York born artist has a passion for music, dance and activism, satisfying not only your ears and sight but necessity for change. Co-founder of the Millions March NYC, the young leader was honored by Teen Vogue and the NAACP for her commitment to service and leading the “most prominent anti-police brutality marches the city had ever seen.”

Returning to her musical roots, Synead releases her debut single “Tropicao,” which aired by Ebro Darden via Beats 1 on Apple Music. Inspired by her Trinidad and Tobago upbringing, summertime is in full swing in this jovial number, posing also as a reminder “that it’s okay to be happy and live life.” As we await the accompanying visual set to premiere in Spring 2017 and her follow up single “Lost In The Wild,” groove out to the Cabo Blanco and Matt FX production below.
